NEW: Sparkling Bistro (my hottest tip for casual fine dining at the moment, Chef Jürgen is a well trained and experienced pro who combines soul cooking and fine dining, excellent product sourcing), ask Chef Jürgen for a wine journey and for Super Tuscan Coravin offers
Tantris ** (classic cooking, cool 70ty design and a very good wine list (best in the city, city center prices) with all the famous producers, good Coravin offers), great selection of Selosse with different Deg. Dates), great Leroy, d’Auvenay and DRC selection
Restaurant JAN *** (Jan Hartwig has now his one Restaurant)
Esszimmer ** (international cooking, cosy atmosphere for a romantic dinner), very good wine list, fair priced
CASUAL DINING
Landersdorfer und Innerhofer (very good classic cooking and good wine list with Austrian influence)
BAVARIAN COOKING
Georgenhof in Schwabing (only locals, no tourists, good beer)
WINEBARS
Grapes Wine Bar (good to very good wine list, selection of older vintages by Coravin), city center prices
Geisels Vinothek

Le Fleurs du Mal (First floor of the famous Schumanns Bar, reservation needed, best Selection of Fine Spirits,Whisky, Rum & Co., very experienced barkeepers)
Ory Bar (Inside Mandarin Oriental Hotel, perfect Drinks and Service
Barroom (Munich’s smallest bar, reservation needed)
COUNTRYSIDE
Zum Vaas in Forstinning (good cooking and a huge very fair priced wine list, a lot of Riesling GG, Selosse Champagne)
MARKETS, STORES
Champagne Characters (the best selection of Grower Champagne in Germany) interesting open bottle’s on Friday and Saturday to dring in a cosy „bar ) there, closes early!
Viktualienmarkt
Käfer’s at Prinzregentenstrasse 73 for delicatessen, very good cheese selection (they sell Antony)
Geisels Weingalerie in the city center (for Classic Wines)
